Many paths to the bidding:
As a modern auction house, we offer you many options for placing bids. Whether the traditional way in the auction room by raising your hand, in advance via fax, or live on the Internet—the choice is yours.
We kindly recommend that you register and/or submit your bids in a timely manner so that any questions can be addressed promptly and so that activation for the online bidding process via external platforms (third-party providers) is not delayed.
How to find us:
You’ll find us in the heart of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck—at Mengstraße 14. You can drop off items right at the door. For a visit to the preview or the auction, we recommend the Fünfhausen parking garage (located directly behind the auction house).
The traditional in-person bidding process:
On the day of the auction, you arrive at the auction house, register as a bidder, and receive a bidder number. You bid by raising your hand, and if you are the highest bidder, the item is awarded to you.
Bidding via online livestream:
Register for our auction at Lot-Tissimo.com; once your account has been activated, you can log in and bid live online. The livestream begins shortly before the auction starts. Any external fees will be passed on to the buyer.
Written Bids:
During the preview at the auction house, you may submit written bids to our staff. You may also submit bids by fax (0451/70757808), email (info@auktionshaus-hanseart.de), or mail.
Online Bidding:
You can sign in here on our website by clicking the “Register” button. You can then submit your bids for the selected lots with the click of a button.
Bidding online via Lot-Tissimo:
You create an account on Lot-Tissimo.com, register for our auction, and either place your pre-bids there or sign up to participate live. Fees for live bids are passed on to the buyer.
Bidding by phone:
You can register as a phone bidder with our colleagues at the auction house or by placing a bid on our website. You will be called when the lot is being called. As a phone bidder, you will automatically bid the reserve price.
