You wish to sell through our auction house:
There are many reasons for selling. Downsizing due to a move, dissolving a collection, or an inheritance are just a few examples. As a collector and connoisseur, you are an expert in the field, familiar with the market, and know our auction house as a reliable partner. Especially if this isn't the case, it's good to have a dependably reliable partner like us by your side. We are here to help.
How do I deliver it?
You contact us and we arrange an initial viewing. This can take place at our auction house, at your location during a home visit, or digitally (email, WhatsApp, etc.). If an auction is a possibility, the item is then consigned.
The limit?
The reserve price is the starting price in an auction. We will determine this together. Your price expectations and, if applicable, the current market situation will determine the appropriate starting price for your treasures. Selling below the reserve price is not possible.
When will it be sold?
The auctions take place 4-6 times a year. Each auction requires some lead time. Research, descriptions, and photos all take time. We also want your consignment to attract many bidders and thus achieve the highest possible winning bids. This is accomplished through a professional description, as well as prior PR and advertising across numerous channels. The sale then takes place with the highest bidder winning the auction.
After the sale?
Has your item been sold? The buyer will receive their invoice shortly after the auction. Collection or shipping arrangements will be made, and you will receive a statement of account upon completion of the transaction. Payment will then be made via bank transfer or, if applicable, according to your preferences.
Suitable?
Generally speaking, we're happy to take a look at everything. Not all "treasures" are immediately obvious. Take advantage of our experience; we're happy to help.
Heritage?
Have you inherited household goods, collections, or estates and need assistance with cataloging and selling them? HanseArt is your reliable partner.
Home visit?
Is your collection too extensive, are you clearing out a household, or is the location simply a problem? We can clarify many things over the phone. In such cases, a home visit is the best option.
Resolution?
When a household is being cleared out, the question often arises: are there any valuables left? Professional advice is needed. Our recommendation: we will conduct a preliminary walkthrough of the household with you and select items of value for auction.
picasso
When people hear the name Picasso, they usually think of his world-famous paintings and prints. Did you know that Picasso also created ceramics, among other things?
Besides numerous prints and paintings by Pablo Picasso, we have already successfully auctioned many ceramics, such as this jug. Perhaps one from your collection will be next?
Fabergé
Peter Carl Fabergé achieved worldwide fame through his magnificent Fabergé eggs. But his masterful jewelry and silverware are also highly sought-after collector's items worldwide.
We have already successfully auctioned many items and we would be happy to assist you if you wish to auction Russian antiques.
Looking for an instant purchase?
An auction takes time. As an auction house, we don't buy items directly. Sometimes, however, things need to move faster. When it comes to immediate purchase, we work with reliable, Hanseatic companies and recommend our partner:
