Sell

You wish to sell through our auction house:

There are many reasons to sell. Downsizing when moving, liquidating a collection, or an inheritance are just a few of the reasons. As a collector and connoisseur, you are an expert in the field, and you know our auction house as a reliable partner. Especially if this is not the case, it is good to have a Hanseatic-reliable partner like us by your side. We are here to support you.

How do I deliver it?

You contact us and we’ll schedule an initial appraisal. This can take place at our auction house, at your home during an in-person visit, or digitally (via email, WhatsApp, etc.). If an auction is an option, we’ll arrange for the consignment.

The limit?

The reserve price is the minimum bid in an auction. We set this together. Your price expectations and, if applicable, the current market conditions will determine the appropriate starting price for your treasures. A sale below the reserve price is not possible.

When will it be sold?

Auctions are held 4–6 times a year. An auction always requires careful preparation. Research, descriptions, and photos take some time. Your consignment should also attract many bidders and thus achieve the highest possible bids for you. This is achieved through expert descriptions, as well as through prior PR and advertising across numerous channels. The sale is then concluded with the item going to the highest bidder in our auction.

After the sale?

Was your consignment sold? In that case, the buyer will receive an invoice shortly after the auction, pickup or shipping arrangements will be made, and once the transaction is complete, you will be sent a settlement statement. Payment will then be made via bank transfer or, if applicable, according to your preferences.

Suitable?

As a general rule, we’re happy to take a look at anything. Not all “treasures” are immediately apparent. Take advantage of our experience—we’re happy to help.

Heritage?

Have you inherited household goods, collections, or estates and need help sorting them out and selling them? HanseArt is your trusted partner.

Home visit?

Is your collection too large, are you clearing out a home, or is getting here simply a problem? We can sort out a lot of details over the phone. In that case, a home visit is the best option.

Resolution?

When it’s time to clear out a home, the question often arises: Are there any items of value left? Professional advice is essential. Our recommendation: We’ll go through your belongings with you in advance and select items for auction.

picasso

When people hear the name Picasso, they usually think of world-famous paintings and prints. Did you know that Picasso also created ceramics, among other things?

In addition to numerous prints and paintings by Pablo Picasso, we have already successfully auctioned off many ceramics, such as this jug. Perhaps one from your collection will be next?

Pablo Ruiz Picasso (1881, Málaga, Spanien - 1973, Mougins, Frankreich), "Yan Pitcher", H: 25,5cm

Fabergé

Peter Carl Fabergé achieved worldwide fame for his magnificent Fabergé eggs. But his masterful jewelry and silverware are also highly sought-after collector’s items around the world.

We have already successfully auctioned off many of these pieces, and we would be happy to assist you if you wish to auction Russian antiques.

Kleiner Cloisonné-Becher, Silber, 84 Zolotnik, partiell vergoldet, Fabergé, Moskau, um 1911, ca. 56,1g, HxD 4,9x4cm, Zuschlag: 7000,-€
