Hanseatic principles and qualities have guided the founders of HanseArt in their work and lives since the beginning. We are, and always have been, convinced that morality, honesty, and transparency must be the indispensable basis of our actions. 

With our opening in 2018, we ended a long search and found what is probably the perfect location for a Lübeck auction house. Situated opposite St. Mary's Church and the Buddenbrook House, the location could hardly be more steeped in history. The rear of the building  The parking garage also ensures optimal accessibility to the 400 square meter exhibition space. 

A team of twelve employees, each with a wide range of expertise, works at the Lübeck locations and strives to provide you with comprehensive advice and customer support. 

In addition to our art historians, a network of recognized experts is available for almost every area of collection, in order to provide your consignments with the best possible marketing path and to offer our buyers the best possible treasures. 

As a modern and young auction house, we use all modern presentation methods in addition to the classic auction hall, such as live streaming and live bidding on the internet. 

Our comprehensive consulting and customer support also includes the possibility of on-site appointments, the referral of local transport and installation service providers, or advice on estates and inheritances.
