White porcelain (plus oval wooden base), on an oval natural wood base, two standing draft horses, next to them a young soldier with bare torso, signed and dated "Erich Oehme 1942/43" on the base, underglaze blue crossed swords mark on the reverse of the base, crossed swords mark "white" and model designation "R. 239." as an impressed mark on the base, H 34.5 cm, W approx. 44 cm, D approx. 25 cm, left boot with hairline crack (surface adhesive residue), minor firing flaws, slight signs of age.,
