Pair of trumpet vases, Meissen, decor "German Flower" and "Red Rose", Pfeiffer period (1924-34) and after 1972 respectively.

Porcelain, polychrome painted, each with a trumpet-shaped body, the front decorated with one floral bouquet with scattered flowers around it, one with a red rose decoration, and the reverse with a wildflower bouquet, each with an underglaze blue crossed swords mark on the base (one with a grinding mark underneath), height approx. 13.5 cm, one chipped at the bottom edge and one very slightly chipped at the top edge, gold rims slightly rubbed.
