750 or 833 yellow gold, Charles Colins & Sons, Hanau, circa 1830, flat, rectangular body with hinged lid, guilloché reserves on all sides, framed by applied leaf friezes and floral decoration, on the lid regimental cipher “A” under a crown in a floral-framed reserve with a dark blue enamel border, white gemstones set on the rim and the cipher, under the lid foil 2x maker's mark “CCS” in a lozenge, HxWxD: 2.3×9.1×6.7cm, approx. 141g, good condition with minor signs of age, enamel partially restored, some stones damaged.
Probably originally courtly snuffboxes of the House of Oldenburg, at the end of the 19th century provided as presentation snuffboxes with regimental cipher. Surcharge 12,250 euros
